Hillesvag Fjord Sock Yarn
This new SUFibers introduction of Fjord Sock Yarn from HIllesvag is the perfect yarn for heavier socks, such as ‘Ragg Wool’ socks.
Fjord is Hillesvag’s midweight sock yarn, being a little heavier than Fjaere (375m/100g) having 250m/100g.
All of Hillesvag sock yarns are spun from 80% wool from Norwegian white wool and 20% nylon.
Reinforced yarn gives garments that speak volumes and is great for socks and workwear.
Feel free to knit the socks a little tight so that the stitches don't get as much room to move + then they will last much longer

At this point other gauges of sock yarn produced by Hillesvag are not carried by SUFibers. The Fjell sock yarn comes in 3-ply. and has 167m/100g.
